Short-form Video Editor
We're looking for a sharp, organised video editor who knows how to tell a story. You'll take raw footage and turn it into clean, engaging edits for social, YouTube and other platforms. You’ll work closely with our creative team to keep everything on-brand, on-brief and on time.
Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into compelling and visually appealing videos.
- Trim and arrange video clips to maintain a smooth narrative flow.
- Incorporate graphics, animations, music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance storytelling.
- Apply color correction, transitions, and visual effects as needed.
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand project objectives and branding guidelines.
- Optimize video content for different platforms, including social media, YouTube, and etc.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and editing techniques to improve video quality.
- Manage and organize media files efficiently.
- Ensure projects are completed on time while maintaining high production standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
- Experience with motion graphics and animation is a plus.
- Familiarity with audio editing and color grading.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent attention to detail and a creative mindset.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A portfolio or demo reel showcasing previous work.
- With passport with less restrictions, with US visa preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Multimedia, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Experience in video production, cinematography, or related areas.
- Knowledge of social media trends and content optimization for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
